Who we are

RodentHero is a referral service operated by HyperTarget Marketing LLC ("we", "us"), 12600 Hill Country Blvd, Suite R275, Austin, TX 78738. We connect people who call our tracking numbers with independent pest control providers. This policy explains what we collect when you visit rodenthero.com or call a RodentHero number, how we use it, who receives it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

When you call. We collect your phone number (caller ID), the number you dialed, the date, time and duration of the call, the ZIP code or city you provide, what you tell us about your rodent problem, and the outcome of the call. Calls are recorded and transcribed, and transcripts may be reviewed by our staff or analyzed by automated tools, including artificial intelligence, to route the call, measure quality, detect fraud, and settle billing with providers. If you do not want to be recorded, hang up before speaking with a provider.

When you visit the website. We collect the pages you view, the tracking number shown to you, your device and browser type, approximate location derived from your IP address, and the advertising parameters attached to the link that brought you here (for example a Google click identifier, campaign, ad group, keyword and device). Our hosting and call-tracking providers process technical logs, including IP addresses, to deliver and secure the site.

We do not have a lead form and do not collect payment information.

How we use it

To connect your call to a provider that serves your area; to attribute your call to the advertising that brought you here so we can measure and pay for that advertising; to review call quality and provider performance; to detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and duplicate or coached calls; to bill providers for calls we refer; to comply with law and enforce our terms; and to improve the service.

Who receives it

Pest control providers and referral partners. When we connect your call, the provider receives your phone number, your location, and the live conversation. We may share the call recording or details of the call with that provider or partner to settle billing or resolve a dispute about the call. Providers use your information under their own privacy policies.

Service providers. Call routing and tracking (Retreaver), telephone carriers, transcription and analytics tools, website hosting (Cloudflare), and advertising measurement (Google Ads). These companies process information on our behalf.

Advertising platforms. We report to Google Ads that a call took place, with the click identifier and, in some cases, a value we assign to that call, so the platform can measure our advertising. We do not send Google your name or phone number for this purpose.

Legal. We disclose information when required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a merger, sale or transfer of our business.

Because we are compensated by providers for calls we refer, transferring your call information to a provider may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under some state privacy laws. See Your privacy choices for how to opt out.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use browser session storage to remember the advertising parameters from the link that brought you here while you move between pages, so the tracking number you see stays consistent. Our call-tracking provider may set a cookie for the same purpose. We use Google Ads conversion tags to measure advertising. We do not use third-party advertising cookies to target you elsewhere on the web. Your browser's controls and the Global Privacy Control signal are honored as described in Your privacy choices.

Retention

Call records and recordings are kept for as long as needed to settle billing with providers and to detect fraud, generally up to 24 months, and longer if required to resolve a dispute or comply with law. Website logs are kept for a shorter period by our hosting and tracking providers.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to receive a copy, to correct or delete it, to opt out of the sale or sharing of your information or targeted advertising, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To make a request, email privacy@rodenthero.com or write to us at the address above. We will verify your request by matching the phone number you used to call us. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with written permission. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision.

California residents. In the last 12 months we have collected the categories of personal information described above (identifiers, commercial information, internet activity, audio recordings, approximate geolocation, and inferences about your service needs) and disclosed them for a business purpose to the recipients described above. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16. You may opt out of sale or sharing using the link at Your privacy choices.

Children

The service is for adults arranging property services. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No transmission or storage method is completely secure.
